Financial Controller

Keystone is a conglomeration of three companies: a proactive IT Service Provider responding to the needs and challenges of our business clients in Northeast Ohio, a High-Speed Go-Karting Facility in Medina, and manufacturer of the #1 selling Super Spinner Swing.  There are numerous and diverse opportunities to make a difference for those who rely upon us, starting with our employees! We are seeking a Financial Controller to become an integral part of the Keystone management team. You will be instituting the policies and procedures for helpful financial controls, overseeing all systems and transactions, and working with other internally and externally to ensure we have a solid and profitable business in all areas. With your financial skills, your best attributes are a desire to help people. You will be the ‘go to’ person who helps and supports leadership in steering the financial ship.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Works with management to prepare annual budgets, including necessary supporting documentation and reconciliation. Updates budget monthly. Provides timely reviews of organization’s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
  • Manages relationships with banks and other financial institutions, including reporting and meeting loan covenants.
  • Manages the financial system(s), controls, and documents, primarily in QuickBooks, with other related online systems and Excel or Word documents.
  • Develops and maintains financial controls, including Policies and procedures, Schedules,
  • Designs and prepares various reports necessary to the business
  • Oversees an assistant who will perform billing, AP, AR, and payroll transactions.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains Fixed Assets reports and performs depreciation calculations.
  • Works with outside accountants for monthly reviews to make adjusting journal entries, and to prepare tax returns and personal financial statements.
  • Work with outside firms for benefits (401k, healthcare).
  • Works with banks to secure and manage financing.
  • Manages cash flow of the organization to ensure funds are available to meet organization expenditures. Maintains and reports the assumptions Updates cash flow forecast weekly.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Perform duties assigned above.
  • Must have mastery of all related financial and support software applications.
  • Proven experience in using technology to improve financial management systems.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize among diverse yet concurrent projects and responsibilities.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills.

 

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required. CPA and/or Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in the financial/ accounting field, including two years of public accounting

Help Desk / Support Engineer

We are seeking a Help Desk/Support Engineer to become an integral part of the Keystone team. You will be the first line of contact, serving our clients in Northeast Ohio, solving their technical problems.  Along with your technical skills, your best attributes are patience and service. You will be the ‘go to’ person who helps and supports our clients with their technology concerns.

Help Desk/Support Engineer qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in supporting end users or computer networks
  • Ability to diagnose and solve basic problems a user might encounter
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 r2, 2012, 2012 r2 and 2016
  • Ability to troubleshoot error messages, apply patches or upgrades, and general support of Windows desktops and networks
  • Ability to document tasks accomplished with details in a ticketing system
  • IT certification is a plus
