Business Development Executive

Keystone Business Solutions is seeking one or more business development executives to represent our premier offerings of information technology, financial, and marketing services to northeastern Ohio companies.

Keystone provides a monthly recurring revenue model for those interested in offering our services to other organizations. Your existing or new contacts in these organizations can be leveraged to generate new sales.
Summary Job Characteristics

Meet the needs of the firm (and its various business units) to develop and maintain business relationships with clients.  In order to facilitate this, the following job description is provided for the position of “Business Development Executive” or “BDE.”

The position reports to the Managing Partner of Keystone Business Services.

Required Characteristics

  • Proven track record of successful sales in services.  Prefer experience in selling information system and other services. (within Northeastern Ohio a plus).
  • Ability to use a consultative approach to selling, including analysis of prospect needs (ROI, business case analysis, etc.).
  • Ability to prospect to find new clients and markets.
  • Ability to relate and sell to senior level decision makers (Owners, C level).
  • Ability to set and manage client expectations pre and post-sale.
  • Ability to mine a client for additional service needs, and referrals to other organizations.

Compensation:
Compensation for the BDE is based on two components:

  • Base Salary
  • Incentive based compensation paid when invoices are generated for a sale the BDE was responsible for.  This commission may be split with another person in the sales process and is governed by the standard commission structure for sales in place at the time of the sale.  Sales may include monthly recurring revenue agreements, time and materials projects, and “Fixed Fee” projects.

Programmer/Analyst Position

Keystone Technology Consultants is seeking a software developer in Microsoft technologies (C#, Smart Client, SQL Server, ASP.net, etc.) for one if it’s clients. This is a new position being added for a large project that you will have the opportunity to be involved with from the ground up. You will help define requirements, develop a technical and architectural design, build the software, and deploy it. Other projects are on the horizon. You will work in a mid-size family focused company that offers a solid environment where the average tenure is close to ten years! This is a fabulous opportunity to learn the technology based on some initial experience you possess (1-3 years of hands on work). Reports to Director of Information Technology

Must be able to:

  • Develop application software in Microsoft Technologies.
  • Gather and document application requirements
  • Develop functional and technical specifications
  • Select and use development technology tools
  • Manage projects including planning, budgeting, tracking, and reporting
  • Support applications, including user support via help desk calls, ticketing systems
  • Make recommendations on improvements in the development process and tools.
  • Advise technology team
  • Analyze problems and determine best solution

Tools:

  • Visual Studio.Net, with C# or VB.Net.
  • ASP.Net and WinForms
  • SQL Server
  • Ability to design databases, write T-SQL scripts, etc.
  • Reporting Services
