Keystone Summer Open House - Tuesday, July 20, 2010

On July 7th Keystone Technology Consultants hosted their summer barbecue at 787 Wye Road in historic Ghent Ohio.  Over seventy of their clients and friends joined together to celebrate the summer with great conversation, food, and festivities.  "We'd like to thank everyone who came out to have fun with us on Wednesday", said Greg Cordray, Keystone’s President. "We had a great day and we really enjoyed spending some quality time with everyone."

Keystone a Sponsor at the Phil Shook Invitational Fund Raiser - Tuesday, June 08, 2010

Keystone was proud to be able to be a sponsor at the Phil Shook Invitational Golf tournament.  Phil passed away a few years ago, but is remembered by his family and friends with this memorial golf event that raises funds to support therapeutic music and arts at Cleveland's Positive Education Program (PEP).  You can read more about Phil and is life here.

Greg Cordray added to CITE Board at University of Akron - Thursday, June 03, 2010

Keystone is proud to announce that Greg Cordray has been added to the CITe Board of Directors at the University of Akron, the College of Business Administration.  "CITe" stands for Center for IT and eBusiness, and Greg will be contributing to the direction and activities of the organziation.  We are proud to be part of such a great group of people, and congratulate Greg in his being recognized!

Keystone awarded ANOTHER Microsoft Competency - Tuesday, May 25, 2010

Keystone Technology Consultants is proud to announce we have received a new competency designation from Microsoft, the “Identity and Security Competency”.  This competency was gained by Keystone’s demonstrated expertise in building, designing, deploying, and supporting solutions using the following tools:

  • Forefront Security products (including clients, Exchange, SharePoint, and Office Communication Server)
  • Forefront Threat Management Gateway
  • Active Directory
  • Certificate Services
  • Windows Rights Management Services  

This will allow us to help support our customers’ business strategy through higher levels of security that works without being intrusive. 

Driving this technical growth are top chief executive officer (CEO) priorities, such as the need to manage risk, protect valuable intellectual property, allow customers to securely access corporate information creating more sticky relationships, and centralize security management thereby reducing costs. The Identity and Security competency assures our customers that we have the expertise to address their needs by growing revenue and creating operational efficiencies that are secure and effective.
 

 
New Client: Paramount Tennis Club! - Saturday, May 22, 2010

Keystone is proud to add Paramount Tennis Club to our list of clients.  Paramount Tennis Club is a state of the art USTA facility serving the entire Northeastern Ohio community from its main location in Medina. The professionally staffed, full service tennis center offers unsurpassed quality programming and facilities to members and the general public.

Richard Bedell joins Keystone as CFO - Saturday, May 22, 2010

Keystone is proud to welcome Richard Bedell to the firm as our Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  Richard is helping us manage our growth profitably with better internal capabilities. 

We are also launching a new firm using Richard as the lead!  Keystone Financial Consultants has been established to provide small to medium size business with a “shared CFO”.  This is an effective way to receive the benefit of a senior financial manager without the cost of a full-time executive.  You receive the personal attention of a seasoned CPA/MBA experienced with small to mid-sized companies which allows you to focus on growing your business.

Richard P. Bedell is a CPA/MBA who has spent his entire career managing the finances of small to mid-size companies ranging from $10 million to $1.1 billion in a variety of industries including international sports management, manufacturing, not-for-profit, human resource management and an NFL football franchise. He has created a financial organization from scratch in a start-up company, reorganized financial departments and accounting systems and implemented financial software packages.
 
Richard has an undergraduate degree from John Carroll University and an MBA from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
